Ace of Spades

This is a fly with the same colors but some small modifications, based on a fly I’ve fished a lot with called Ece Spade. That fly has probably given me the best brown trout fishing I can remember, so it’s a favorite of mine. I made a few updates, and it’s fair to call this version the “little brother” of the ES. The fly is weighted, tied on a strong SE hook with black and brown hackle in the tail along with silver flash. The body is black chenille with a holo wing. It’s ribbed with gray Grizzly and has a black head. An excellent streamer fly.
