Arndilly Fancy

This wonderful fly is in my top three. The author of the fly is Megan Boyd from Scotland, who was one of the best fly tiers in the world, even though she never engaged in fly fishing. She dedicated her life to this craft and passed away in 1988 at the age of 86. The name of the fly comes from a fishing area called Arndilly, located on the River Spey. This fly has given me many good salmon and beautiful catches. I have also tied it with a silver body, and it is extremely effective that way.
