This wonderful fly is in my top three. The author of the fly is Megan Boyd from Scotland, who was one of the best fly tiers in the world, although she never fished with flies. She dedicated her life to this art and passed away in 1988 at the age of 86. The name of the fly comes from a fishing area called Arndilly, which is in the Spey River.
